Prior to the formation of the Wakefield Cardona immigration law firm, Wells worked as an associate at another Austin based immigration firm. As an experienced Austin immigration attorney, he has worked in selecting the appropriate avenues for business formation, development and immigration to the United States for everyone from individuals to businesses.

In addition to immigration law, Wells has worked in real estate, high tech manufacturing, and international business transactions. He has also lived and worked in Latin America and is fluent in Spanish. All of this has shaped his legal career and his approach to the needs of each client.

Rose A. Cardona

Rose is the Managing Partner of Wakefield Cardona. Prior to joining the law firm, she worked for state's highest criminal court, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. As the court's Program Attorney, she supervised the Texas Criminal Justice Integrity Unit, assisted with the court's ten million dollar grant for legal education, and served as the legislative liaison. Rose also served as a Briefing Attorney at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals prior to her role as Program Attorney.

Rose received her B.A. in International Studies from Southwestern University. During this time, she lived and studied in Mexico and South America. Her study abroad experiences led to a position as the Director of Latin America Admissions for International Studies Abroad, a leading international education company in the United States. Her role in the international education field provided experience with contract management, university relations, budgeting, crisis management, and quality client relationships.

When not practicing law, Rose enjoys spending time with her family and serving as an elected Council Member for the City of Sunset Valley and Chairperson of Sunset Valley's Planning and Environmental committee.
